A lot of people are talking about what it is to do a “hard day’s work.” Is it all day without answering your phone or checking in to facebook? Or is it blasting a hole in some God forsaken rock so that the trains can get through.
Well I work on the Info Mountain, and if I didn’t blast through the bedrock then the trains would never get through. It isn’t glorious and it isn’t easy but it’s something I can be proud of. Just like the men who built the railways.
Anyway, here is one of my favorite get-stuff-done tracks by the Pogues. Break out the bold dynamite.

An interesting development as most small chains struggle to survive in a digital world. The last time I checked out my old record store it was in a sad state. The inventory consisted mostly of used DVDs and there was an air of death about the place. My only question: How’s the coffee?
