A very general recap of how the Sebring circuit has evolved since 1952. For the first 30 years it was unchanged, then sections of the airport runways were deleted. The biggest change came after the 1986 race, when the circuit essentially became a separate entity from the airport. Spectator area has actually increased over the years, including Green Park, which was not opened to spectators until 1966. Keep in mind most of the old runway section was never open to the public during the first 30 years of the race. (via Sebring International Raceway)
