integra: I haven’t watched much Indycar since getting so into Formula 1, but it doesn’t matter. Dan Wheldon was my favorite driver back then. I remember annoying my friends with my absolute need to watch the Indy 500 while we were at the lake for Memoridal Day weekend back in 2007. I had made myself a hilariously bad GREATESTJOURNAL layout with him and the words to some song. That is honestly the worst crash I have ever seen. So awful. I love racing. They love racing. Just 14 hours ago I watched my favorite team win its second championship. And then the worst thing that could possibly happen elsewhere in the day happens. And those drivers are probably just waking up to this. It doesn’t matter that there are a bunch of different series of racing. It’s one big family and this is a horrible day. RIP Dan Wheldon, you were fantastic.
