Re-watched the Petit Le Mans Audi-Peugeot incident in HD from ABC broadcast. Dumas clearly cuts over on #68 Porsche. Montagny holds his line. It was a bold move by Dumas, and he was going to run out of room. Given the visibility of the closed top prototypes, I don’t think he knew where the Porsche was, nor that he was not clear. Bottom line racing incident that could have been avoided if Dumas had not gone for it. But then again they don’t pay race drivers to play it safe.
